Good Morning Conard field hockey

Here is our schedule for the upcoming tryouts/ season. Please read the entire email. PLEASE NOTE CHANGES

August 24^th – 9:15-11:15, 2-3:30

August 25^th – 1-3 pm

August 26^th – 1-3 pm

Ø  August 28^th practice 2:45 to 4:45

Ø  August 29^th Practice at 2:45 to 4:45.

Ø  August 30^th 1^st day of school. Practice 1:30 to 3pm

Ø  August 31^st practice 2:45 to 4:30

Ø  September 1st practice 2:45 to 4:30

ØSeptember 2^nd Scrimmage at Daniel Hand High School- Prospectus varsity players to play.

Teams to be determined by September 4^th.

All teams once, determined will practice right after school. If you need extra help after school, you must get a signed pass by the teacher who you are with before coming to practice. If you are late you should be jogging to practice and ready with all equipment on prior to practice.

Our turf schedule will be determined shortly. Captains will keep you posted of daily practice changes etc. Please do not txt coaches during the day about practice, ask our captains. Our thirds team will always practice on the grass.

Do your part to be a part of the team. Be prepared with all necessary equipment. Sneakers and cleats are required EVERYDAY. Wear your mouth guard at practice (so get one that is comfortable). Bring water, and eat lunch and a snack before practice. Pick up equipment together. It shouldn’t be the same people doing it all the time. Help with the cages if need be. Be prepared to ask questions, seek advice and talk to the coaches and the captains. Be ready to have fun! We are looking forward to another successful season.  Prepare yourself mentally and physically by reading up on sports psychology tips, and following the summer training packet. Looking forward to seeing you all soon.
