Business & Finance courses prepare students to live and work as productive citizens in a global society by developing proficient use of technology and information technology applications; business, financial and economic concepts; as well as communication skills and ethical principles essential for everyone. The variety of courses promotes the application of new skills to other disciplines; provides essential real-world business experiences; equips students with a foundation of knowledge and skills needed for advanced study in a business college program; and supports the transition to a challenging, successful c a r e e r . Student will understand the interconnected nature of business related fields such as accounting, finance, management and marketing and their links with the essentials of all careers and post-secondary education.
Business Education offers college credit for select courses as noted through the College Career Pathways program partnership with the community colleges.
